Everyone has at least one great road trip memory!

It all starts with setting up an RV, the company of good friends, driving at high speed with pop music and of course, energy drinks.

A beetle, a bee, a caterpillar and a ladybug - these are the stars in our story who will bring a nostalgic feeling of fellowship. They are rarely the most appealing creatures so we wanted to shine some light on them. Psyop did a stellar job with the 2d design, developing them into interesting-looking characters. Milford's assignment was to fulfill their vision for the design and the story about a road trip sing-a-long moment that would fill you with joy. Using human-like facial expressions, movements and adding realistic details in the environment, as clothes and texture helped us reach that goal. However, making them move, look, and act realistically are just a few important parts of the performance.

Adding personalities is what makes the story more dynamic and interesting to watch. It was a true and fun challenge for our team to bring these characters to life, acting like a singing unit but having their own individual quirky features. Of course, singing an old classical song helped us catch that charm and nostalgia we were looking for.
