Christmas campaigns that bring joy and emotional impact have become a Milford tradition. The successful Very.co.uk campaign with the slogan “Get more out of giving” ran for four years in the UK and was a recurring topic of conversation each Christmas. During the period 2016-2019 we produced animation for four commercials as well as wide variety of other campaign material for social media, print and promotion.
The theme "Get more out of giving" was a common thread throughout the campaign and each commercial had its own perspective on how to celebrate this theme. We worked hard to make sure each character and story had its very own sense of joy and gratitude so not to feel repetitive or generic, tailoring each emotion to be unique and personal.

The satisfying feeling of giving to others is a universal feeling that many of us recognize and in the first commercial of the campaign we follow a mother heading stressing home for Christmas yet still taking the time to spread joy and giving gifts to everyone she crosses paths with.
This first ad premiered at London’s County Hall with a spectacular 60-foot projection showing the heartwarming footage. The London Eye was also turned pink for the occasion as 100 gift-givers handed out presents to happily surprised bypassers.
